What a great day for us! We continue our unbelievable run in college hoops (22-7) over the last 4 days and get back on track in NBA. Like I said yesterday I made a couple tweaks in NBA and focused a little more on totals as opposed to sides and it really paid off today. A total of +24.1 units on the day as we complete our 4th straight winning day. We also hit our nba game of the month with golden state winning by 10. It was a little closer than I would like on a pick that big but we still covered and ultimately that's all that matters. Not even 2 ot's could beat us in the kan/ok st game but it did make it alot more interesting. I do apologize for our one bad spot today on the ill-chi game. They just flat out didn't show up and wisc-mil lit it up especially from beyond the arc. Theres also not much to say about the beat down the knicks suffered. Other than that just a great night and great first half of the week. Hope everyone had a great night and I look forward to continuing our success tomorrow.

New Packages
I have received a lot of emails requesting more affordable daily packages. I have been made aware that some of you only play one sport so what I have decided to do is offer a daily package for each sport separately. I will still offer the $30 daily package that includes all sports and a profit guarantee or the next day is free. The new packages will be $10 for each sport but will not include the profit guarantee. The $10 package will give you every pick that day that I am offering for the sport that you choose. All new packages will be available later this evening

Starting tomorrow 1/14/13 I will be charging for my picks. There will be several different packages to choose from. I know the knicks haven't looked great lately but they were embarrassed friday night by the bulls and they will be looking to finish the week off strong. Look for them to get out to an early lead and just pour it on the hornets tomorrow morning. This is still one of the top 3 teams in the east and a top team in the NBA. They will not finish the week with a loss to the hornets. They will finish it with a huge win tomorrow.

We hit our 7 unit play of the year which was big for us, I usually stick to one play of the year per sport but I might do one on the ov/un total of a game if I feel confident enough in a play. I love this play. Everyone has been asking "what happened to the new york defense that started the season?" Well I believe that there last game against San Antonio showed the start of that defense coming back. A major reason for that was Mike Woodson finally making the switch to Marcus Camby in the starting lineup. With him and Chandler down low the Magic and any team for that matter is going to have a ton of trouble scoring in the paint. That combined with Glen Davis being out will make it very difficult for Orlando to get many points in the paint. Mike Woodson has also taken the recent knicks defensive woes personally and being a defensive coach he will be looking to prove that this team is still a defense first team. The only way this game goes over is if the Magic can catch fire from 3 point range otherwise i don't see them putting up many points. Wanted to get this pick out before a possible line change.

Definitely needed a huge day like this after that dreadful day yesterday. Was so close bumping the bulls game up to a 5 unit but got cold feet after the rocky day yesterday. All I can do is apologize for yesterdays picks. It was my worst day that I can remember. The bulls game was a devastating loss with Jameer Nelson hitting a garbage layup as time expired to backdoor us. These bad breaks happen and hopefully we will have a couple plays like this go our way. Either way I chose the wrong side and there is no excuse for a day like this.
